Exaggy is a lightweight meme creation tool designed for young users, focused on providing a fun, secure, and private experience for generating exaggerated special effect memes from real-life photos or captured images. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal data remains secure. We explicitly state that we DO NOT collect, store, process, or analyze any facial information, facial features, biometric data, or facial patterns from any materials (including photos, images, or captured content) you use within the app. Additionally, all AI-powered features and services within the App—including those used for generating exaggerated special effects, optimizing image editing, and supporting meme creation—are independently developed by the Exaggy team. We do not use any third-party AI services, tools, plugins, or APIs, ensuring full control over data processing and maximum protection of your privacy.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Exaggy mobile application (the “App”) for iOS devices, and explains how we handle data in relation to your use of the App. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. No Account Requirement

Exaggy is designed to be used without account registration, login, or authentication. You can access all core features of the App immediately after downloading and installing it, without providing any personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or social media accounts. Our account-free design, combined with our self-developed AI services (no third-party involvement), eliminates any risk of personal data collection or leakage associated with user accounts.

We do not track your usage through user accounts, and there is no association between your App activity and any personally identifiable information. All interactions with the App’s AI features are processed locally on your device, with no data transmission to external servers.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

To emphasize our commitment to your privacy, we clearly outline the types of data we never collect, including but not limited to:

• Facial Information: We do not scan, detect, extract, store, or analyze any facial features, biometric data, or facial patterns from the photos or images you upload, capture, or edit in the App. All image processing for meme creation—including the application of AI-powered exaggerated effects developed independently by the Exaggy team—is performed locally on your iOS device. No facial data, image data, or processing results are transmitted to our servers or any third-party services. Ourself-developed AI services operate entirely on your device, ensuring no facial information is ever accessed or stored outside of your local storage.
• Personally Identifiable Information (PII): As no account is required, we do not collect your name, email, address, phone number, date of birth, or any other information that can be used to identify you personally. Our self-developed AI services do not require or collect any personal data to function.
• Location Data: We do not access, collect, or track your geographical location, whether through GPS, Wi-Fi, or cellular network data. This applies to all App features, including AI-powered meme creation tools.
• Usage Tracking Data: We do not collect data about your usage habits within the App, such as the number of memes you create, the types of AI effects you use, or the frequency of your App sessions, for the purpose of user tracking or profiling. All usage activity remains local to your device and is not shared with us or any third party.

3. Local Data Processing and Storage

All operations within Exaggy, including image editing, AI-powered effect application, and meme generation, are processed locally on your iOS device. This includes all functions supported by ourself-developed AI services, which operate entirely on your device without requiring data transmission to external servers. We do not transmit any of your original images, edited memes, processing data, or AI-generated content to our servers or third-party platforms, except in the following limited scenarios that are fully controlled by you:

1. Saving Memes to Photo Album: When you choose to save a created meme to your device’s photo album, this action is initiated solely by you. We do not have access to your photo album unless you explicitly grant permission (in accordance with iOS permissions settings). Even with permission, we only use it to save the final meme file you create—we do not access, view, or store any other photos in your album, and no facial information or image data is processed or collected by our AI services beyond what is necessary for local editing.
2. Sharing Memes to Third-Party Platforms: When you choose to share a meme to social media or messaging apps, the sharing process is managed by your device’s operating system and the selected third-party app. We do not collect any data about the recipients, the content of your shared messages, or your sharing activity. Ourself-developed AI services do not participate in or track the sharing process.

Any temporary data generated during the meme creation process (e.g., cached image previews, temporary AI processing files) is stored locally on your device and is deleted when you close the App or clear your device’s cache. We do not retain any of this temporary data on our end, and our AI services do not store any of this data beyond the active App session.

4. Third-Party Services

We strictly do not use any third-party AI services, tools, or plugins in the App. All AI-powered features are independently developed by the Exaggy team, ensuring that no third party has access to your data or device. The only limited third-party integration we may use is solely to support core App functionality, and we ensure these services do not collect your personal data, facial information, or any data related to your use of ourself-developed AI services:

• iOS In-App Purchase Service: We use Apple’s official In-App Purchase framework to process subscription payments for premium features (including premium AI effects developed by the Exaggy team). All payment data is handled directly by Apple, and we do not receive or store any of your payment information (e.g., credit card details, billing addresses). Apple’s privacy policy applies to these transactions, and Apple does not have access to any of your App usage data, facial information, or AI processing data.
• Anonymous Crash Reporting (Optional): We may use a third-party crash reporting tool to identify and fix technical issues within the App. This tool collects only anonymous, non-identifiable data related to App crashes (e.g., error codes, device model, iOS version). It does not collect any personal information, facial data, usage data, or any data related to the App’s AI services or your meme creation activity. You can disable this anonymous data collection by adjusting your device’s settings.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the local data processing on your device and to ensure that our App andself-developed AI services do not inadvertently collect or transmit any sensitive information, including facial data. Since all core processing—including AI-driven effect generation—is done locally, the security of your images, memes, and personal privacy depends primarily on your device’s security settings. We recommend that you use a passcode, Touch ID, or Face ID to secure your iOS device and prevent unauthorized access to your photos, the App, and any temporary data generated by our AI services.

6. Children’s Privacy

Exaggy is intended for use by young users, and we are committed to complying with children’s privacy protection laws. We do not collect any personal information from users of any age, and we never collect, store, process, or analyze any facial information—even from content uploaded by children. Our self-developed artificial intelligence service runs locally on the device, ensuring no data (including facial data) is transmitted or shared. Parents or guardians can rest assured that their children’s privacy is fully protected when using our App.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our App functionality, ourself-developed AI services, or applicable legal requirements. When we make updates, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the App (including its AI features) after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
